$500,000 BGA grant from the Federal Government
Announcement that the Victorian Independent Schools Block Grant Authority has identified a notional project for our school involving an Australian Government Capital Grant of $500,000 under the 2010 Capital Grant Program and 2009 State Needs-Based Capital Funding Program to construct a new primary classroom. The Schematic Design Report is currently being prepared by consultants for this project.

Announcement that the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Education, the Hon. Julia Gillard MP, recently approved a grant to our school of $250,000 to construct a new Early Learning Centre.

$70,000
grant from the Federal Government
Announcement
from the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for
Education, Science and Training, The Hon. Pat Farmer
MP, has confirmed that an Australian Government Investing
in Our Schools Programme (IOSP) grant of $70,000 has
been approved to assist the Cockatoo Montessori School
with capital works early in 2007.

Cockatoo Montessori School students Charlotte and Bradley
were invited to attend a morning tea with the Prime
Minister John Howard on Wednesday 26th July at the Upwey-Belgrave
RSL sub-branch.
